How to make bread that is delicious, filling and won’t make you fat.
ingredients
1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk add water to make 320ml (~11fl oz)
15ml (1 tablespoon) honey
15ml (1 tablespoon) lemon juice
400g (14oz) stoneground wholemeal wheat flour
100g (4oz) stoneground wholemeal rye flour
10ml (2 teaspoons) salt
10ml (2 teaspoons) fast acting dried yeast

  1. LOLOLOLOL Not at ALL what I thought when I read the title…. when I saw Lower GI I thought of your lower gastro-intestinal track…. so I was thinking that this was a special bread that would "clean you out"

  2. @Duessa2000 maybe the addition of sufficient senna pods would have the effect you describe! But with the amount of fibre I eat already I am not going to be the one to test this out!
