You seem very knowledgeable and I appreciate what your doing here. Your command however and implementation of the English language in some ways takes away from confidence in you dispensing advice.
Thank you

I need help! I have a very stubborn, anti-change diabetic dad who just will not stop eating unhealthy food. He has been eating a traditional Swedish diet all his life (LOTS of potatoes, white bread, CANDY, spaghetti and rice etc) and every time I suggest he cut down on his carbs he gets really grumpy like it is the craziest idea ever. I want to trick him into eating healthier to start with by replacing his snacks (yes he is a candy eating diabetic) and potatoes (practically every meal has potatoes) with something better for his blood sugar that is not too "modern" and "unconventional" (he even thinks chili, garlic and curry are too exotic). So you see my dilemma! Any tips would be welcome. Cheers
Excellent VIDEO
THIS IS WHAT I FOUND AFFECTED ME NOTHING OR VERY LITTLE! NUTS DO AFFECT IT, DEPENDING ON WHICH ONES (WALNUTS BARELY NOTHING) SO IT'S JUST MY EXPERIENCE AND YOU HAVE TO GO TEST IT OUT YOURSELF!
It's not necessarily the healthiest options for you either. I will share a video about what I eat nowadays soon.
I'm just a diabetic, not a doctor.
I'm Swedish, my accent and pronunciation is sometimes weird, deal with it or move on π
Thank you so much π
This is not 100% correct! All Dairy affects your blood sugar.. Butter, eggs and fats causes clogged arteries and heart attacks! This is quite misleading and very false. Sorry Dude, but you are misinformed like many others, no offence!
type 1 or type 2 ??
can I eat samolina?
BTW beware buying cheap milk if you live in the USA Dairy producers have been adding sugar and High fructose corn syrup into cheaper milk to make it taste better and it is causing issues for diabetics.
I really appreciated this video!
Does anyone else have the situation where they eat meals with ONLY protein and it still raises their blood sugars. For example I have ONLY chicken with no insulin and it raises my blood sugar but when I have it with rice and take insulin for the rice it doesn't do anything
left out sun chokes,Β Β they are not a starch, but can be used like potatoes.Β hash browns made from themΒ are great
Subbed. I just got put on Metformin twice a day starting this week. I'm 45 as of yesterday and this was not a birthday present I wanted, but since I have to deal with reality, I'm glad to find this channel.
marketing department just puts organic on everything and BPA free.
Β gets the suckers every time.
thank you π
What are your credentials? Seems like your advice is the opposite and thus very unhealthy.
great stuff; by the way peanuts are legumes, not nuts, not too big a mistake though
Great vid!! just been diagnosed and this really helped
Is everyone here in the medical profession? Talk to your healthcare provider for a referral to a dietian.
From everything I have been researching an alkaline body is not correct we need acid esp as we age.Older people have trouble with there digestion because their stomach produce to little acid and therefore are alkaline.ACV/Appl Cider Vinegar with the mother is very helpful for the body or u can take HCL with Pepsin to add Acid to your stomach to help break down the food and Magnesium has been my number one thing to stop GERD attacks totally.

mmmm The Best you can Taste the differance
1. I agree with onions and garlic, super healthy, great benefits.
2. I agree with leafy greens, too.
3. I agree that seeds are healthy, but it's not because of the fat. Its because of the protein, fiber, and, in some cases, omega 3/6 provided, depending on the seed. Don't get me wrong, SOME fat is okay, but no one should be trying to get a LOT of fat.
4. Avocado also good.
5. Coconut also good.
6. Nuts also good.
7. Herbs are EXCELLENT.
8. EGGS ARE TERRIBLE! Animal products in general are the leading cause of many cancers, many heart problems, and, guess what, diabetes itself — in fact, some people reverse diabetes by cutting out animal products and lowering fat intake and cutting out processed foods (see: FORKS OVER KNIVES).
9. Butter and cheese are also AWFUL (see above note).
10. Oils are okay but should be used sparingly, as they are essentially, usually, concentrated fat, which the body does NOT need!
if the swedes consider eggs as dairy i will fukn shoot myself
you say all your words different
Do you have a comprehensive list of complex carbs? I'm looking for one, but am having trouble finding it, on YT. Thanks.
