  1. I have been a raw till 4 -er for two months now and I got sick yestererday mainly eating bananas and smoothies. I am so sad and scared that it happened, did you experience any sickness nausea, muscle weakness or sleepiness from too many bananas? Btw bananas are my fav and I am glad you were inspired (and have so much extreme energy) to make your own videos! Cheers!

  2. Thanks for the video. I think I have the same body type as you. I'm 220 now, and I should be about 185.  I want to do an Ironman but have an ENORMOUS problem trying to lose weight even with tons of exercise.  I am going to try this high fruit high carb plan and see what happens.  There's no way that calorie counting and restriction is the answer. It just doesn't make sense long term. Thanks for the video.

  3. Bananas are radioactive.  Eating 50 bananas a day is enough to greatly increase her chances of getting throat, stomach, colon and other cancers from all the ionizing radiation she is eating.  

    Not sure why she would eat so many bananas unless she's trying to die prematurely from the cancer she will be getting.

  4. Also just read that animal feed is now being "supplemented" with acidic whey from the massive amounts of this by product of Greek yogurt, cottage cheese and cream cheese because they can't do much else with it. Oh how we mess up everyone's diets.

  5. Thanks for the vid here. It would help to know how tall you are, repeated here if you've said in other vids, and/or your new BMI at 186#, vs at 260#.
    How do you feel about the McDougal diet with minimal fruits, no meat/fish, and little to no fat?
    I have been recently diagnosed with the typical middle to older somatic syndrom things: T2 Diabetes and [very] high blood pressure. I'm convinced I can undo these via the best diet so I can get OFF, not take more and more, medications. Right now, the bp is about normal and BG is very close to that, but I believe I can use diet to accomplish good health, and happy to add exercise [like I used to]. I've been almost converted to the LCHF diet thing, or the Paleo version, but I feel Dr. McDougall's [as well as the presentations/books of Drs. Esselstyn, Fuhrman, Ornish, Bernard, etc.] videos and books have been so compelling that I have decided to keep the fats/oils to the lowest level I can, including not adding any.

  6. Cows actually are segregated. Have you ever been to a local farm that only raises organic grass-fed beef and has not been raised on grains? You can typically find these products at farmers markets, health food stores and co-ops. So, if you're going to eat meat, make sure it is high quality.

    A high carb diet can set you up for blood sugar issues, insulin resistance and adrenal issues. I tried it and was crashing after every meal. I had to add animal protein back into my diet. I see that most of the pics of commenters look young (under 30). When you're young your pancreas can produce adequate insulin. Not so when you get older.
    This diet is not for everyone, but if you can get away with it, then more power to you.
    Just make sure the veg's are organic because conventionally grown veg's are grown in depleted soils. You need ALL the minerals, not just a few of them.
    And stay away from soy…it's bad for your thyroid (metabolism – endocrine disruptor).
    Look it up!!!

  7. Enough of this high carb nonsense please !!! Who are you trying to fool with such videos? You may have an 'exceptional' body type that miraculously loses weight on high carbs (against all scientific evidence) – but for the 99% of us out there, high carbs are nothing but a disaster when it comes to fat loss.

    i am a vegan myself and felt so guilty when you say white pasta is crap food, cuz i sometimes eat it.
    btw, is gluten free a thing to you?

  9. lol… I'm a grad student (and a long-time vegan) and I just finished writing a paper on how adjusting feed based on the sex of livestock animals and the bacteria present in the gut can actually improve their mass and meat quality while reducing waste and improving waste consistency; causing the wastes to have less impact on the environment. I found your comment on feeding specific diets to animals to be hilarious because of that. 🙂

  10. HUMANS ARE NOT THE SAME AS DEER OR COWS !
    NO,… I CAN'T eat all I want dude, even if it is Vegan.
    If I eat Potatoes, I get bloated & feel uncomfortable,… If I eat Grains I gain a LOT of weight,… When I go low carb & stay away from Grains I lose weight,… Simple !
