For many people who make the switch to a vegan diet, weight loss is inevitable. However, just because it’s vegan doesn’t mean that it’s healthy ๐Ÿ™‚

In order to lose weight and maintain your bodies ideal weight you need to:
1. Have a nutrient dense diet. Base your meals around vegetables, especially greens.
2. Avoid or limit oil, and opt for the whole food.

  1. Hey, I'm fairly new to your channel, but you have been so inspiring!
My vegan weight loss: I was 215 pounds at 5'5" before I became vegan. I've now been vegan for almost a year and have lost 45 pounds simply by cutting out the animal products. Your channel is now helping me to avoid processed vegan snacks and mock meats as well as oil, to continue my journey of health! Thank you so much!

  2. Ive been vegan for a week and I got vegan alternatives for butter, mayo, and cream cheese to make the transition easier. It is processed so thankfully I use it very very sparingly

  3. Became vegan with the new year and I've lost 15 pounds! I was pescatarian before I transitioned and I mainly feel that cutting out cheese and eggs and being more conscious of what I put in my body helped. I started jogging/ trying to run and I've loved it. I've never felt better being vegan! Now I've found myself at a plateau so this video was a very helpful reminder to keep eating plant based, and trying my absolute hardest to keep away from processed vegan foods! Thank you! I love your videos you inspire me and I REALLY love your take on making soul food vegan ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

  4. Exactly happened to me, I lost 5lbs without trying when I first went vegan. After a while, my weight started creeping back up. And I was watching all these videos and reading books that would tell you that you could eat as much as you wanted and still lose weight on a vegan diet. Well, that didn't work. I started counting my macros_ 273grs of carbs, 168grs of protein and 48grs of fat per day. I'm ingesting whole, fresh, nutritious dense foods and so far, I have lost 2" on my waist in just a week.
And the tips on the video are actually very great. Just because a food is vegan it doesn't mean that is healthy. So, stay from junk food, even if it's vegan.

  5. You have become my favorite YouTuber! Besides being beautiful and soothing to watch, I have really enjoyed your tips and recipes so very much! Please keep making videos! I really look forward to and enjoy them!

  6. Idk why so many vegans are afraid of oils. Theres nothing wrong with teaspoon of healthy fats and omegas

But for those of ya'll who want to begin moving away from using oils dont just cut it out. Start with the healthy oils like extra virgin coconut and olive oil first. Then start adding less and less amounts to your food. Then having it once a day etc.

SInce i am not a huge fan of having avocado and nuts all the time olive oil is usually my go to.

  7. I hate a lot of! How can I further sneak in veggies without straight up eating whole veggies! I want the vegan lifestyle, but am having a hard time finding foods that I like.

  8. I've noticed the puffiness has left my face and arms and the inches are definitely coming off because my waist feels really defined now.
I'm a vegetarian but I'm going vegan now – health reasons made me change but feeling fantastic is keeping me on this path of health.
Eating plant based food is just a way of life for me now.
Channels like yours help people like me thanks for sharing I learned so much.

  9. I'm so week with olive oil… just the thought of giving it up makes me so sad.. but I believe that's the secret of my weight gain… 30 lbs… ๐Ÿ™ will try.. oxoxoxo wish me luck.

  10. One way to enjoy salads is also making your own salad dressings in the blender, using natural whole fat foods such as avocados, tahini, almonds, sunflower seeds etc., something acidic like lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, etc., something sweet like dates, raisins, agave, maple, etc., vegetables, herbs and spices like parsley, cilantro, oregano, turmeric, cayenne, etc. possibilities for salad dressings are endless……it makes salads delicious, and they add major nutrition density too!

  11. Following my good friend told me about the diet โ€œsowo hope siteโ€, I looked for on Google and when I found it, I dropped more than 16 pounds in just a few of weeks. I would suggest this plan to any person whoโ€™s searching for a really efficient plan.
