  1. I don't understand why type 2 diabetes people are made to take more and more insulin instead of actually being advised about keto and fasting.. its quite crazy…
    And than everything goes for toss..

  2. I was advice by a nutrionist to eat 6 times a day, snacking to speed up my metabolism. …it did not work for me-at all. I gained weight instead. …I was told I had insulin resistance, but no advice on how to help me. I have hypothyroid, my normal was feeling miserable, puffy, high-lows, etc., and autoimmune issues with 30+ food allergies. I did my research on this topic, I was terrified to start because eating fats, fermented foods and cruciferous vegetables is what I was asked NOT to do. …but considering I pretty much tried it all, and felt miserable, I had nothing to loose.

    …3 weeks into a Healthy Keto regimen intermittent fasting and lots of walking with yoga and light stretches and I'm down 10 lbs. Thank you so much Dr. Berg, I love your simple to understand but thorough explanations.

  3. My endicronologists were not able to explain the links between insulin resistance, estrogen dominance, severe hypothyroidism and related syndromes my body is struggling with. Thanks Dr Berg for generously raising awareness and sharing valid information. I am finaly shifting to health applying Dr. Berg's info.

  4. I agree that insulin is a culprit of all these symptoms but guess what folks, so is Vitamin D deficiency! All my blood work showed normal. I begged for more tests. The doc did a Vitamin D and I was deficient. He prescribed 50,000 a week for 8 weeks. I'm feeling much better, no brain fog, no more far belly.

  6. Medical schools do not teach about care, counselling or nutrition. Exactly like law schools does not teach about litigation. There should be a proper guide to chosing a doctor like the Lawyers websites showing their experts. UK doctors and their regulators need to be more accountable especially for general practises which are just referral centres these days and do nor provide adequate care as they are too busy keeping the NHS money for themselves instead of spending it on their patients. Doctors in UK also use NHS time money and premises to run their own private practice. Therefore they give inadequate service to NHS patients especially the elderly and the vulnerable.

  7. That makes sense! When I was in a middle school I ate alot but I never gain any weight, and that because I was playing game too much and only take a break when I have my biological needs (simply bath, eat & defecate) and school, so I never bothered to eat any snacks / anything between my main meals.

    When I'm in highschool I quitted playing games, I gain weight immediately and its been struggle to lose it until I've found this video, I've never realized THAT was the cause.

    Thank you Dr. Eric Berg, this helps me alot with my understanding of the importance of knowing how my own body works, how to stay healthy, and to plan my diet well!

  8. Hi Dr Berg, I love your videos. And I have one suggestion to help make them even more effective for all your viewers…and that's to have you stand off to the side of your white board. I don't have time to keep pausing the video to take notes – so I like to take photos of your whiteboard. I can then go through the photos, when I have a bit more time, and actually make notes. Unfortunately, you stand just "within" the whiteboard – yes, to one side, but always within the bounds of the whiteboard. I sometimes take about 5 photos to try to get the information that's on one board ;-}. I'd still give you 9 out of 10 for your videos – but if you could at least give us a moment or 2 with you outside the bounds of the whiteboard for each segment of your talk, I would be most grateful and would be giving you 10/10. Yours in Gratitude for all your wonderful work!

  9. So insulin makes you fat and block the body's ability to use fat. Duh, then why fight blood sugar and get fatter? So you can get more insulin to fight the increase in sugar in your blood to get fatter?
