  1. I've always felt that there must also have been a sense of awe from the peasants when they walked into the soaring cathedral churches of the day. many of them, far more of them probably went into churches then into the royal castles and mansions. Those who worked inside them of course saw the insides. But many peasants and stone workers, wood carvers, worked on construction of those magnificent cathedrals. So think of when they walked from their hovels into a place they and their ancestors built and listened to a mass by Thomas Tallis, or Hienrich Schuutz, or religious music by Bach, Mozart, etc.

  2. 2004/2005, I was in college. My professor gave me a stack of classical cds; she taught me piano. She thought it was important to spread this music to those who loved it like me. I lost them in 2005 in Katrina and shy of becoming a teacher and purchasing them somehow, I knew they were gone forever. Those cds came with her teachers edition books ONLY and she asked me not to tell, and I haven’t after 14 years… till now… thank you educators everywhere.

  3. In modern youth music there is a bit of violence and meaninglessness of existence, and this very much lands a huge human energy potential and stops humanity from further development. Music should awaken the grandeur and incomprehensibility of nature in man, and man should realize that he is just a pitiful grain of sand in a bottomless and mysterious ocean.

  4. Time stamps for you all lads.
