  1. That's a lot of books behind you! Too bad this video doesn't have more views and likes….ZDogg is a sensationalist and appeals to young men who believe in 'bro science' and lots of people in general want to believe their bad habits are good for them. It's human nature! Just because someone is a 'doctor' doesn't mean they know about nutrition as they have little to no training, and have to discover the truth for themselves, which takes time. Dr. Garth Davis of Proteinaholic is a good example. He went from a low carb/high meat diet to the complete opposite.

  2. I agree with everything you are saying. My wife and I have been on the McDougall program for 1.5 years. I was curious if you can give a breakdown of what you eat in a day and at what times you eat it. I noticed that you say that we have to be eating more during the day and it would be nice to see an example of that from a doc and not someone with just a popular vlog on YT.

  3. Does anybody know which of his books explains what to eat? I'm not looking for a recipe book, only the types of food to eat & why, etc.
    I'm a non-animal products eater, but do eat oils/butter. I am looking to improve my diet.

IF Zdogg thinks he is able to perform better on his animal based diet (which i followed over 40 years ago as a young man and athlete which lead to my first stroke TIA at the age of 22. by age 23 i converted to a pure plant protein based diet. I even gave up the chicken, i used egg whites under the mistaken belief I needed some animal protein then I gave that up and notice by best results. I continue to improve even now that I am in my 60's. Would you like to win $1,000 to defeat Nick Delgado in curl and press? IF one attempts to slow the weight down, to create a more strict movement, what are you trying to accomplish? The movement is fast, as taught by my mentor Dragan, and consider that kettlebells are very popular and they use a lot of swing, and get great results. This is our sport, and we set the rules. You are welcome to swing the weight too, however the use of legs pumping up is not part of our sport. PS When we use 45 lbs dumbbells in each hand there is virtually no swing.   8. You pick a panel of 4 Vegan body builders and 4 non Vegan. All must go thru extensive drug test first.
    Then it's a competition and proof that those beefed up puffy slow and stinky ( dead animal flesh stinks out of pores, BO warning) will lose!!!
    Better do it outside!

  9. Personally, I wouldn't bother with Zdogg. He's a bad doctor in it for fame. I pray that he will one day stop leading people down a very dangerous path.

    My husband got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year. He understands that a wholefood, no oil, plant based diet is what he needs to follow but he is having trouble sticking to it.
    Do you have any tips for compliance?
    He won’t go the medial route but he isn’t doing the diet right either 😬

  11. It's good you brought this out, it will answer questions by the rebuttal. I think the movie is great and added a lot to my own understanding. I'm on an Esselstyn diet now and always value the knowledge of exactly what controls what, how it all works. Naturally, the diet has saved my health, I'm 72 and it's never too late.
