  1. Love this! I'm 22 and i've had diabetes type 1 for 15 years now and yoga actually helps me to keep my blood sugar levels in a good balance, just because it helps me to reduce my stress levels. Stress=higher blood sugar levels, at least for me. I don't understand how people can be so bitter. For those of you who commented negative stuff, Adriene didn't say anything about "curing diabetes". This flow is to help u keeping your blood sugar levels, and your body in balance, and you don't have to be Einstein to understand that yoga can't cure diabetes. Or any other autoimmune disease.

  2. Wow, this is truly a powerful practice ! No flows, just strong slow moves that seem to reach all parts of the body inside and out. I appreciated the short rests in between to counteract the opposite stretch, it felt so good. I enjoyed the challenge of the dolphin and the plough. I look forward to repeating those.   3. I wasn't able to get to the full plough pose today but I was able to create something close to it without collapsing into my spine and balancing on a strong, solid base. I felt totally balanced and secure. I didn't think I'd ever be able to have that balance and solidity in my upper body, but fifty days of Yoga with Adriene has revealed that to me. I started crying once I got out of the pose – so much joy! Thank you so much Adriene!

  5. Iโ€™m really happy today, last year when I first did this practice I saw plow pose and thought no way I could do that, but today and 60 pounds lighter I actually did it! To a growing Practice, Namaste ๐ŸŒบโค๏ธ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ

  8. Yummy yummy yummy. I was really able to bring the breath today, and Iโ€™m so pleased! That plough pose took me right back to my childhood. I was more than happy to swing my legs all the way behind my head and hang out there for a while!!! I really, really loved today. Lots of space to breathe, to let my body happily gurgle and to keep my mind blissfully quiet. Until tomorrow lovely people! Namaste xxx

    I have Type 2 diabetes that I control with diet and exercise. I follow your sessions daily. Using your sessions daily assist me in maintaining my healthy body. Thank you for guiding me in developing a stronger self. Namaste.

  13. When you got to the plow pose I thought, "Well, that's not happening!" and appreciated your comment about working towards it. But I followed along anyway and wonder of wonders, I was successful! So very exciting, I couldn't stop smiling. Made this 61 year old's day!! Thank you Adriene!

  15. I live with chronic Pancreatitis, the pancreas digests sugars and fat in your body. With pancreatitis the pancreas inflames and causes lots of pain, nausea, and other digestive issues. My inside organs LOVE a good deep twists with deep breaths. And my mental health loves connecting with my breath. Yoga is my cure for wishing I had a different body, and loving the one I am in, illness/limitations and all.

While yoga is already known to reduce blood pressure, enhance mobility, alleviate stress and improve overall wellbeing, it is still not as popular for naturally managing diabetes.   17. I have only done a few sessions. But now it's seems my body craves it . I'm amazed how my body can stretch. I use to do yoga years ago . Diabetis changed what exercise I could do . So it's nice to discover that there's exercise for us. I also do Charlie o Connell . Exercise for diabetis. He gave me my life back . Adriene I did this an I was energised all day. Also had moments of peace. I can feel my body and brain firing up. With just these few exercise. This time of year can be stressful.

  18. So glad i found this video. I want to help my boyfriend with relaxing more and understanding that stress can be sorted out if you listen to your body and try a bit of yoga. He is type 2 diabetic and he thinks yoga is just for us "girls"…pfft! But he said he is willing to give it a go, so I will do this with him on the weekend..if he allows me lol. Thank you.
