  1. I went OMAD, one meal a day, for a month and a half. Didn't lose a pound. It also did not correct the several health issues I had. Then I went Keto, while staying OMAD, and I lost twelve pounds in the first week (mostly water retention). Over the next couple of months, I dropped an extra eighteen pounds for a total of thirty. All my health issues either disappeared completely or were reduced in severity 90%.

After a couple of months however, my weight loss plateaued. For two months, despite staying Keto and OMAD, I didn't lose a pound. I was eating on the order of 1200 calories, definitely below my maintenance. Apparently my metabolism slowed down to match the calories. What I've been doing since is to not necessarily try to restrict calories. I am perfectly willing to eat a maintenance level meal. However at least once a month I'll do a three to four day total fast. During that fast I lose two or three pounds, and they do not come back. It will take me another year or so at this rate to lose everything else I need to lose, but I can live with that.

By the way, multiple day total fasts are not all that hard when you are eating keto. You are fat adapted, so you are never actually starving. You have a 'healthy appetite', but that is easily ignored.

  2. I’m 46. It’s been 1 month and I’ve lost 24 pounds so far. I eat once a day at 6 or 7pm and I enjoy my meals and feel good. My body is so used to it now that it’s getting too easy. I really do feel like I can do this for life, but I’m not making promises because I usually fail that way. Thank you for your help. Btw, I went to my doctor and my cholesterol is perfect so is my blood pressure. I went from 260 to 236. My goal is 50 more pounds. I also use the Keto strips and I’m good at staying in the two darkest levels. Whoop Whoop!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I started jump roping the day before yesterday and my last two pounds melted off like butter. Lol. This is crazy how well Keto works for me!! I feel like I should pay you for your videos because they taught me how to do this all the right way. 💪🏾🙌🏾👍🏾 May God Bless you for helping so many people. Well, at least for helping me. 😊

  3. Thank you for making this so simple to understand. So many videos I still didnt know if I was doing it right.. And you confirmed what I had decided to try on my own.. Except exercise 🙄..Which will now add.. then 🙂

  4. So to make sure I understand. Im not eating for 16hrz and eating for 8hours. What foods can i eat within that time..

Is it wise to let my eating window from 1-8 and fast from 8-12 the next day. Tryna to make sure im actually burning fat at tht time

  5. Thank you..just started this a week ago and gained weight (which had me saying no to this) but when I listen you reassured me that I just need to tweak what I'm doing. 🙂. Ok I'm gonna try a week 2! Here goes!

  6. My plan is to do 20:4 until I lose the necessary 18 to 20 lbs (9 or 10 lbs to go) but do I need to do this forever to maintain or can I transition to 16:8 for maintenance?

  7. I do my fast 20/4 OMAD, but my mistake is eating too much carbs like 4 pcs of pancake and veggies and protein😩 I can't end the day without carbs in my mouth. I feel happy with it. But I do workout everyday💥👙

  8. Personaly I would be nervous adopting a more keto diet, eating more butter, oils and other fats, is there enough evidence that long term this is safe, Ten years from now will my arteries look good, what will be my calcium score for my heart etc.
