In this video, Dr. Berg explains why getting on a fatty ketogenic diet can help fix a fatty liver. Ketosis is when it converts fat to ketones which occur in the liver by consuming a low carb diet and when the ketones are produced, it automatically signal to stop storing fat in the body. The liver is the first area to show the reduction of fat.

  1. Keto diet is the new tsunami of diet craze – but … this tsunami is so BIG & powerful (based on rational science) it is going to do permanent DAMAGE to the companies whoare harming our body for $$$

  2. How can a person know 💯 that they have a very healthy liver ?
    I eat very clean, drink plenty of water, eat lots of onions and loads of greens, drink pure cranberry juice, pure pomegranate juice.
    I use turmeric and cayenne powder very often.
    I use organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, and I’m about to start using MCT oil and Ghee.

    What are signs though that I can use to verify I’m doing all the right things?

  4. Just wanted to say thank you Dr. Berg for answering my question on the livestream. As said my endocrine system got completely crashed by a 1 time dose of a 5a-reductase inhibitor a month ago.
    Did a 7 day water fast and going to do a 7day juice-feast now. Ordered half of your store and hope to really get back my health.
    I've still severe problems, but one of my worst is my skin. I've aged probably 10 years in 4weeks(all over the body, not just face).
    Really hope the B vitamins and a healthy IF-keto/gluten-free paelo diet will be able to get me back on track.
    Hairanalysis and bloodtests are on their way. Doing daily 2x meditation and trying to get at least 8h sleep (which is impossible with my condition right now..)
    I've read studies for 6months before doing such a decision, and never could've imagined how dangerous the pharmacy industry is.

  5. This way of eating can save the world! It will eliminate the diabetes epidemic! I was putting on weight due to being post menopausal and estrogen dominant. There was a lot of hidden sugars in the food that I thought were good to eat or rather safe-let’s put it that way. I haven’t had any sugar, or those classic “dietetic “foods that we were all exposed to in the 80s. I am now eating healthy fats, minimal carbohydrates, some meat and a lot of plant-based- organic fruits and vegetables. I started this at the end of January in 2019 and now I am down 28.2 pounds and I feel like a new woman. I didn’t feel this good when I was 30!

  6. I tried high starch and carbs programme dr mcdougall and almost over night everything healed. Leaky gut, flat stomach, clear head etc with no gall bladder etc intermittent fasting was good but i felt weak on it. I don't trust keto as it is same as atkins meat is bad for you.

  8. Great information as always. I have been playing with Keto for about a year. I am certainly pre diabetic and my body does seem to respond to the Keto diet. However I struggle to find food choices that allow me to get enough fat content. I eat almost no carbs. I suspect that I eat too much protein. Because of this, I am not certain that I ever reach “Hard Core” Ketosis”. Ideas?

    My mother was just diagnosed with fatty liver. She is a breast cancer survivor for about 8 years now. Between here and there my father passed of cancer. He was a vet and using the V.A. as his primary. The V.A. system is so slow that after his initial diagnosis he had to wait months to get an appt with his Dr. Before he made it to that appointment he called me with a side pain…in his liver region. I took him to the hospital and he never came home from there as it had already metastasized and spread everywhere and his liver was beginning to shut down. This week of waiting for my mother's test results has been so stressful. I knew it was either fatty liver or cancer. I'm so glad it's fatty liver. Who would have thought it possible to be happy for that disease lol. But I had learned from your videos a few months ago that this is reversible with diet. She has already made steps and her pain has begun to be much less frequent.
    Thank you so much for your videos. In my keto journey I have marathon watched so many of them. They are informative and to the point with your touch of humor here and there. I appreciate you and your team so much. It has given me hope for my own autoimmune issues and I also have hope for my mother's health too. Thank you

  10. I am already reducing carbs to 20 grams per day. My appetite is down, but I do not get the high fat in. If I have enough body fat to lose, do I have to strive for the fatty foods?
